SANNOH TEAM

Team Sannoh is the strongest and the number one (1) team in entire Japan for two years running. Last year is said to be Sannoh's strongest line-up compared to previous years. This year, they are expected again to rule the Inter-High games for they have Sawakita Eiji, the number one high school player in Japan. At the end of the tournament, though they post a huge margin against the team of Shohoku several times, they're caught off guarded and upset by Shohoku Team by one point.

Fukatsu handled the situations on the basketball court very well, no wonder Miyagi had a lot of pressure when he was facing Fukatsu..

Kawata is one of the top centers in Japan. Perhaps the best center overall. He's big and strong, but with impressive basketball skills. He could shoot, dunk, or get rebounds, I mean, he could do anything! I think Akagi can't even compare to him.. Definitely one of the best basketball players in Japan!

Rukawa can't seem to beat him at first because Sawakita sees through his weakness right away. But Sawakita is also the reason why Rukawa finally realized his mistake.. Sawakita is going to America after the summer. It sure will be a bright future for him.

AIWA TEAM

Name: Dai Moroboshi

A very excellent player that are good at scoring, defense and ball passing. Swift and his strong determination to be number one in Japan makes him a formidable player. Their team ranked 2nd in Aiwa District and last year's Final Four in the Inter-High. If they want to see the real power National Level, Dai Moroboshi is not to be ignored. With him in the floor, though they're facing a huge lead, he can cut it to manageable margin as what he did against Meihou, only to be defeated in the game for the margin were to high to overcome. In the end, Aiwa emerged and ranked number one in Japan as they defeated exhausted Shohoku Team.

Mikoshiba is the ace of Jousei High School Team. He' can score, pass and defend well in the court. Jousei High School Team is the number one team in their district and one of the Final Eight in last year's Inter-High. In the end, they were defeated single-handedly by Hiroshi Morishige of Meihou Team by a margin.

Hiroshi Morishige uses his height and strength to take advantage to his opponents to score. He likes to dunk and look at his opponents laying down while he is hanging on the rim, oftentimes, referees called for a technical. At their district, Aiwa, they're number one, though he's only a freshman, he already made an impact by defeating Dai Moroboshi and the rest of the Aiwa team, last years number one in Aiwa district. And at the Inter-High, he surprised the audiences and other teams as they defeated Jousei High by a margin, last year's Final Eight. In the end, Meihou ranked and tied Shohoku for 3rd Best Team in Japan.
