Hisashi Mitsui
| Hisashi Mitsui is a 3rd year and sworn to bring victory to sensei Anzai. Mitsui is best known for his excellent 3-point shooting ability and categorized as in the top level. Though he don't have much stamina for he stop playing for a quite sometime, he can prove that he's one of the best and a big threat outside (Hasegawa is a victim of that). Kainan (16 consecutive years and running champions in Kanagawa Trial), 2nd Ranking Shoyo and Rejuvenated Ryonan tried to recruit him, but turned down their offers and joined the Shohoku team because of sensei Anzai which serves as his inspiration. For him in a time when he was needed most, he got burned and lets you watch him all game long taking three's outside. Way back, he's the Takeishi Junior High MVP and that's why he's popular in the league. He surrendered basketball because of his knee injury and joined the group of gangster, became a leader and later on realized that he still wants to play basketball when he saw sensei Anzai. Like Akagi, he dreamed to bring Shohoku team to National Championships, to be No. 1 in Japan! | ||
