Shohoku High qualified together with Kainandai University to represent the Kanagawa District to Inter - High School Games in Hiroshima, while both teams are waiting for the train in the train station, Sakuragi came late and mistakenly ended in the side of Kainan. He rushed back to the opposite end and joined the Shohoku. Train comes and they all aboard the train with one 
"goal" in mind... to take home the "national championship!" The following episodes under this statement is all what happened in the Inter-High that most of us failed to see.
